Brownies

Ajzah:
110g saadi chocolate(tokron mein toti hui)
110g makhan
225g pissi hui cheeni
2 anday (phitay hue)
110g maida
1/2 tsp baking powder
110g akhroat
namak

Tarqeeb:
Chocolate aur makhan ko ek heatproof bowl mein daal dein.Ek saucepan mein paani ko halka sa garam karein aur chocolate aur makhan walay bowl ko usmein rakhein jab tak ke wo pighal naa jayen.Jab chocolate aur makhan pighal jayen to usko cholhay se hata dein aur baaqi ke saaray ajzah usmein mila dein. Ek 18 x 28cm size ke baking tin ko grease ker key usmein yeh mixture daal dein aur usko preheated oven mein 180 degree Centrigade ke liye 30 min ke liye rakh dein. Jab brownies bake hojayen to nikaal ker mixture ko 10 min ke liye thanda honay dein. Phir unko chotay chotay pieces mein kaat ker thanda kerlein.

English Translation

Ingredients:

110g plain chocolate(broken into pieces)
110g butter
225g caster sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
110g plain flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp baking powder
110g chopped walnuts
pinch of salt

Method:

Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Stand the bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water until it melts.
When melted, take the bowl off the heat and stir in all the other ingredients.
Spread the mixture into a greased 18 x 28cm shallow baking tin and bake in a pre-heated oven 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F / gas mark 4 for 30 minutes.
Let the mixture cool in the tin for 10 minutes - it will sink a little bit. Then cut the brownies into 8 - 10 squares and cool on a wire rack.
